After having kids I realized there was a lack of fun and informative English-language children’s books about Vietnam. I didn’t want books about the war, but books that celebrated modern-day Vietnam—and the country’s fascinating heritage.
As an author and illustrator who has lived in Vietnam for 16 years, I decided to write and draw my own books. I made them for my kids, who are half Vietnamese, and for the children of all my Overseas Vietnamese friends, and for everyone else—big or small—who loves Vietnam. I hope you’ll enjoy them! Elka |
