Hiking through the jungle
It’s been a bit of a dull, grey day here today, which I have spent researching overseas’ markets for kids’ picture books. A lot of good publishers have stopped producing picture books, since it’s getting harder and harder to make money. It seems that parents are spending less time reading to their tots, who are demanding time on the ipad in place of a bedtime story…
To cheer myself up, I dug up a photo of my husband and me at one of my favorite spots on earth: the Hideaway at Ninh Van Bay, near Nha Trang, Vietnam. Unfortunately, the Hideaway’s not cheap, so I’d better sell a lot of picture books!
