I think that most of us have ideas for a book, but it takes real passion–plus a whole lot of time and hard work–to bring that idea to fruition. One of my book ideas that will never be realized came to me 20 years ago, during my first trip to Southeast Asia. My imaginary photo book, titled “The Dogs of Asia”, profiles all of the downtrodden, scabby and pampered mutts that I’ve met on my travels.
